Dayboro Police Charity Fund

The Dayboro Police Charity Fund was established in 2009 by Sergeant Ken ROBINSON and Senior Constable Troy NOWITZKI of Dayboro Police.

In 2009 Sgt ROBINSON and Snr Con NOWITZKI began to plan numerous annual community events and projects that would reduce crime and build healthy relationships between police and the residents of Dayboro.

In addition, the running of these events would result in funds being raised or donated. It was decided that all of the funds raised or donated would return straight back to the Dayboro and surrounding districts communities.

Subsequently, Dayboro Police identified the need for a community based fund to store any monies raised or donated during these events. Therefore, the Dayboro Police Charity Fund was opened at the Everyone's Credit Union (Dayboro branch) to allow funds to be deposited and withdrawn at the discretion of Dayboro Police.

The initiative has been a huge success with numerous community organisations, businesses and residents supporting the fund.
